  • Intake & acceptance

    Every load entering the facility goes through a gatehouse inspection — material type confirmed, documentation checked, weight or volume recorded. A manifest is issued for every accepted load, giving the hauler a documented receipt and giving us a traceable record of all inputs. Loads that don't meet our acceptance criteria are turned away at the gate.

  • Scalping screen & primary separation

    Raw intake is fed through a heavy-duty scalping screen — a large vibrating mesh that removes oversize material like rocks, wood, concrete chunks, and debris too large for further processing. This first pass protects downstream equipment and concentrates the processable fraction. Rejected oversize is managed separately.

  • CDE EvoWash plant, washing & classification

    The CDE EvoWash is the heart of our operation. Prescreened material enters the wash plant where a controlled water circuit strips away fine clay, silt, organic matter, and soluble contaminants — the impurities that cause aggregate to fail ASTM specifications. The wash cycle is calibrated for the specific material profile coming through, ensuring consistent output across varied inputs.

    Why this matters for product quality

    Unwashed aggregate carries clay fines and organics that weaken concrete mixes, clog drainage systems, and cause mortar to fail early. The EvoWash removes these reliably — which is why our output meets ASTM spec when traditionally-sourced material often doesn't.

  • Sizing, classification & water recovery

    Vibrating classification screens

    Clean material passes through stacked vibrating screens that separate the stream by particle size — sand, stone fractions, and clay are isolated into distinct product streams simultaneously.

    Dewatering & water recirculation

    Classified material goes through dewatering to reach the right moisture content for stockpiling. Process water is captured, cleaned, and recirculated — approximately 90% is recovered and reused, minimising environmental impact and operating cost.

  • Quality testing & stockpiling

    Each product stream is tested for gradation and purity before it reaches the stockpile. Samples are checked against ASTM C33 (concrete sand), ASTM C144 (masonry sand), and applicable stone grading standards. Product that doesn't pass stays in processing — it doesn't ship. Certified product is stockpiled by type and held ready for customer pickup or scheduled delivery.

We don't ship it until it passes.

Sieve analysis / gradation testing

Every product batch is run through a standardised sieve series. Results are compared against the ASTM grading curve for that product — any deviation holds the lot.

Certification documentation

Test results are recorded and available per product lot. Customers can request a certificate of conformance with each order — standard practice for permitted job sites.

Deleterious material checks

Testing for clay lumps, friable particles, and organic contaminants — the failure modes that cause concrete defects and structural issues down the line.

Ongoing process monitoring

Plant settings are adjusted as input material composition changes. We don't set and forget — our operators monitor output quality in real time throughout every production run.

Every ton we process is a ton that didn't go to landfill. And a ton that didn't get quarried.

Traditional aggregate production mines new material from the ground, crushes it, and ships it — often 40–60 miles to a DFW job site. Our process takes material that would have been landfilled, cleans it, and delivers it from 10–20 miles away. The carbon math isn't close.
