OUR PROCESS

From construction export to certified aggregate, all in a single facility.

Most suppliers sell what they buy. We produce what we sell — at a state-of-the-art wash and classification plant in Kennedale. Here's exactly how export and mined materials intake becomes the ASTM-certified material on your job site.

ASTM C33 & C144 certified

Seven stages.
One continuous loop.

Stage 01

Export arrives at gate › Material inspection › Manifest issue › Accepted to tipping area

Stage 02

Stage 03

CDE EvoWash plant›Water wash cycle›Contaminants removed›Clean material stream

Stage 04

Vibrating screens›Particle sizing›Sand · Stone · Clay streams separated

Stage 05

Dewatering›Water recovery & recirculation›~98% water recycled

Stage 06

Gradation testing›ASTM compliance check›Certification issued per product

What the process actually removes.

The difference between raw excavation material and certified aggregate isn't just cleanliness — it's engineered consistency. Here's what changes through our plant.

Export and Mined Materials

  • Elevated clay content — causes concrete shrinkage

  • Silt fines — weaken mortar bonds

  • Organic matter — degrades over time in concrete

  • Mixed particle sizes — unpredictable gradation

  • Irregular debris — concrete chunks, wood, metals

  • Inconsistent moisture content

  • No ASTM compliance

HA certified output

  • Clay removed to spec — ASTM-compliant purity

  • Silt fines washed out — clean particle surfaces

  • Organics removed by wash cycle

  • Classified to precise size fractions

  • Debris removed at scalping stage

  • Dewatered to consistent moisture

  • ASTM C33, C144 or stone grading certified

– Quality Assurance

We don't ship it until it passes.

Sieve analysis / gradation testing

Every product batch is run through a standardised sieve series. Results are compared against the ASTM grading curve for that product — any deviation holds the lot.

Certification documentation

Test results are recorded and available per product lot. Customers can request a certificate of conformance with each order — standard practice for permitted job sites.

Deleterious material checks

Testing for clay lumps, friable particles, and organic contaminants — the failure modes that cause concrete defects and structural issues down the line.

Ongoing process monitoring

Plant settings are adjusted as input material composition changes. We don't set and forget — our operators monitor output quality in real time throughout every production run.

– Environmental Impact

Every ton we process is a ton that didn't go to landfill. And a ton that didn't get quarried.

Traditional aggregate production mines new material from the ground, crushes it, and ships it — often 40–60 miles to a DFW job site. Our process takes material that would have been landfilled, cleans it, and delivers it from 10–20 miles away. The carbon math isn't close.
